The berry blast continues at the Cedar Mill Farmer’s Market, but who can predict how much longer with hot weather in the forecast? It’s been a great year for local berries. Our mild spring ripened them early and produced an abundance of juicy, sweet fruit, and our summer is starting off hot, coaxing cherries, blueberries and blackberries to full flavor.
So hurry if you haven’t gotten your fill. The last of the strawberries and raspberries are coming off the vine. And this weekend, the forecast is predicted to hit three digits–yes, 100 degrees!
While you’re at it, grab a bite to eat and a cool drink, then spend some time perusing everything available at the market. Not only will you find berries, but fresh greens and vegetables, of course, and lots of nonperishables, including jewelry, decorative glassware, bird houses and so much more!
So join us for a hot one this Saturday. We’ll be open, as usual, 8am to 1pm.
See you there!
